Security settings

The “Security settings” interface is one of the two parts of the settings section of MyCena application, it is composed of three parts.
3.3.3.1 Select 2FA method

In this section the user can select his 2FA method which is a security layer that the user has to fill when loggin into MyCena application or when accessing to the settings section. If the user has an email address, the default 2fa method will be “Email code”, if not the default 2fa method will be “None”.

In this section, the user can choose:
- Email code which is a code that the user receives in his email address.
- SMS code which is a code that the user receives in his phone number.
- Application code which is a code that the user enters from a 2FA application after scanning the QR code or copying the alphanumeric code in the 2FA application.
3.3.3.2 Update security keys

In this section, the user can select the security key he wants to edit by clicking on its icon.

The user can choose to update:
- PIN: He will be redirected to “Change your PIN” interface, the new code that he will enters must be with the same length custom in the console settings, also it must be different than the old PIN code.
- Lock pattern: He will be redirected to “Record your pattern” interface, the new lock pattern must be different than the old one.
- Passphrase: He will be redirected to “Update your passphrase” interface, the new passphrase must be different than the old one.
3.3.3.3 Update security questions
- In this section, the user can edit his security questions and their answers.
